Jorgen Skyte Jensen, Corporate Development Advisor and Prosperity Initiative Associate Jorgen supports Prosperity Initiative's internal organisational development, knowledge management and HR functions. Jorgen also supports capacity development and change management activities within partner organisations. He has 20 years' experience in organisational and human resource development and management. He has been a consultant in the aid industry for more than 15 years with long-term overseas positions in Nicaragua, Papua New Guinea and Bolivia. He has worked for bilateral and multilateral donor agencies, primarily with public sector development interventions including public-private partnership activities. Jorgen is a skilled facilitator of programme designs, appraisals and reviews and has most recently been manager for a development impact group in a large Australian consulting firm. Jorgen is from Denmark and holds an M.S. degree in International Business Administration as well as a B.A in Engineering.
Nigel Smith, Programme Development Advisor and Prosperity Initiative Associate Nigel supports Prosperity Initiative's programme development and provides technical inputs to programme implementation and evaluation. Nigel ran the project that developed into the Mekong Bamboo programme. He has more than 17 years' experience in market strategy, management consulting and enterprise development in both the private and development sectors. Nigel holds two masters degrees in engineering and is also a qualified public health engineer; he has led emergency teams in a number of disaster response operations.
Keith Chapman, International Industrial Crops/Horticulture/Agriculture Advisor and Prosperity Initiative Associate Keith is a highly experienced international agricultural consultant who is advising Prosperity Initiative on the agricultural and commodity aspects of its programmes. An agricultural and horticultural scientist by background, he has some 40 years' experience gained in Asia and Australasia working in senior positions for organisations such as FAO/RAP (Industrial Crops) in Bangko, and as an international consultant on commercial and development programmes, especially in horticultural and agricultural crop research, development and extension. Keith is from Australia and holds Masters and Bachelor's degrees in Agricultural Science.
Kate Lloyd-Williams, Tourism Sector Advisor and Prosperity Initiative Associate Kate is leading the development of Prosperity Initiative's Tourism sector programme. She has more than 13 years experience in management consulting, private sector development and international development. She has worked in the Mekong Region since 2003, most recently as Tourism Program Manager for International finance Corporation (IFC) to promote sustainable tourism development in Cambodia, Lao PDR and Vietnam. Kate began her career in management consulting with Accenture in London, specialising in Organisation Design, Human Performance and Change Management in the financial services sector. She moved into international development with IFC in 2003, initially running the Consultant Development project in the Mekong, later rolled out to China and Indonesia. The innovative 'Stay Another Day' project that Kate managed has proven effective at improving the impact of tourism in the Mekong and is being scoped for replication to other regions.
