Dr. Bob Baulch, Lead Economist As Lead Economist, Bob is responsible for leading Prosperity Initiative's impact and performance work. Bob has 22 years experience in agricultural and development economics. He has lived and worked in 19 countries, primarily in Africa and Asia, and was a Fellow of the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) at the University of Sussex between 1995 and 2008. Bob is also the Coordinator of the Chronic Poverty Research Centre's research theme on 'Poverty Dynamics and Economic Mobility' and Co-investigator of an ESRC-DFID funded project on 'The long-term impact of anti-poverty interventions in Bangladesh'. Bob holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Development Economics (Stanford), an M.A in Development Economics (Sussex) and a BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (Oxford).
Nguyen Bui Linh, Senior Socio-Economic Researcher Linh joined Prosperity Initiative's Impact and Performance Team in December 2008. She has almost 11 years experience working as a statistician and consultant for Viet Nam's General Statistics Office (GSO) and leading international organisations. She holds an MBA in Business Data Analysis from Bentley College, USA and a BA in Statistics from Viet Nam's National Economics University.
Nguyen Hoang Trung, Database Manager Trung joined the Impact and Performance Team in December 2008. Trung brings almost 11 years of professional experience to Prosperity Initiative, including as a Technical Expert for the first Euro-Asia large-scale research and education network and other leading IT companies. He has a M.S. from Leiden University, the Netherlands, and a B.A. in Electronic and Telecommunications from the Hanoi University of Technology.
