Prosperity Initiative believes that the ability to achieve a sustainable and wide reach in market development work depends on strong partnerships and collaborations. We establish productive collaborations between development organisations, government agencies and businesses to promote the interests of the poor.

Prosperity Initiative works with innovative businesses, local policy leaders, and global technical experts as the catalysts for industry transformation. We develop projects which enable collaboration of these parties, in a process financed by both donor grants and the business partners themselves.

PI seeks grants from donors who embrace the concept of market based poverty reduction and invest in longer term programmes to achieve significant and sustainable change.
