Prosperity Initiative is a new non-profit organisation. We are registered in the UK as  Community Interest Company (CIC).

CIC's are organisations instituted under a new form of company legislation which enables the merging of non-profit and commercial principles within a mission based organisation - the basis of the new movement in social enterprise.The CIC form was established in the UK in 2005 to better enable social entrepreneurship. PI's team includes people with expertise from both public and private sectors. PI presently works in Viet Nam, Lao PDR, Cambodia and China and has staff and associates in these countries. PI's mission is relevant to other countries with opportunities for business and governments to collaborate in sectors with high poverty reduction potential. PI will gradually look for like minded partnerships to enable our work to develop beyond the current project countries.

PI's main office is located in Hanoi, Viet Nam, where the management team is located, and has small offices in support of activities in the other locations.
